School: Royds School

Requested: Personal Statements Workshop

Date of Request: 05/01/2016

Requested delivery Date: 13/07/2016 (am)

Info: Request for a bespoke activity for Y12 students – see details below

My name is Alex Proctor and i am the Careers Adviser at Royds School. Before Christmas i spoke to Ian at HEART as i wanted to book an event where our Year 12 students have their draft Personal Statement checked by various college’s and universities in the West Yorkshire region. This kind of event would be ideal for our sixth formers as ideally we want them to have their personal statement drafted and checked before the summer.

We were wondering if you have any availability in July? We have Wednesday 13th July available but have other dates in July available so wondered if you could contact me to discuss whether this could go ahead and any possible dates,

Great – many thanks to you all for supporting this. Please see an update from the school below, regarding the room arrangements and student numbers (he is wanting to split them into four groups/rooms for the personal statements workshops, in which case, we would need a fourth person to deliver this – what are your thoughts)? Best, Anna
‘we have booked IT rooms and the Post16 centre for all day – in the morning i think we are going to split around 90 students into 4 groups – so probably groups of around 22,23 etc, and in the afternoon the students will probably all walk round the different tables at the same time as there is enough space for this in the post 16 centre as we have the main common room and two additional classrooms for this’

I am terribly sorry but I have just realised that I cannot do this as I am not in the country. Many apologies, Jo
