Dear Colleagues, this was delivered by Ian last year, but I am wondering if any of you would be able to support? Please fine more details below.
Last year, you very kindly came to talk at our What’s Ahead? conference in June: we would like to invite you again. This year, the morning conference will be held on Monday 27th June and will follow the same format of three 50 minute talks which students opt in to: you may be required to talk once, twice or three times, depending on numbers.
As in previous years, we would like you to give an overview of your subject generally including entry requirements, course content and career prospects. Although we understand that you will use your own institution to provide examples, please make the talk as generic as possible so students choose a course wisely, rather than a particular university, at this stage.
The event begins at 9.05am and finishes at 12.10pm with a break for coffee after session two. There will, of course, be a free lunch, which we hope you will be able to join us for. If you are able to take part, we would be very grateful if you could let us know by Wednesday 23rd March.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Anna, I’m already booked to attend this to do some general talks about HE with our student ambassadors. Thanks, Liam
This sounds great – count me in.
Hi. I can attend on behalf of LCC. Thanks, Jo
throw my hat into the ring, but it seems as if there is lots of interest. I’ll presume I’m not needed, but I can support if necessary – let me know.
Thanks everyone! I will go back to the college with all of your kind offers, and just clarify what they want – these are 50 minute talks, so there is probably some scope to deliver them collaboratively!
Will be in touch shortly, best wishes,
Dear All, Many thanks for your offers of support. The college have replied, however, saying that this is no longer needed, as David Braham (LTU) is going to deliver something. It appears from everyone’s feedback, that Greenhead seem to also be liaising with institutions individually, so my apologies for the confusion on this one. Best wishes, Anna
