Leeds City College Enterprise Festival
Millennium Square in Leeds will be transformed into a marketplace of enterprise and industry on Friday 28th March, as students from Leeds City College put on a festival offering activities, entertainment, and test-trading to the public while showcasing their skills.
Most of the activities will be free, with some requesting a small donation for charity. Several stalls will also be selling freshly baked produce, plants and art and craft items – perfect for a special Mother’s Day gift.
The festival will mark the final day of Enterprise Week, a college-wide event designed to develop students’ core competencies to better prepare them for the world of work. Being involved in the event is enabling the students to develop enterprise and employability skills that will help prepare them for the world of work, such as increased confidence, communication, team and personal skills.
