Foster Fun Day: Bees@Leeds Bioscience and Environment Activity Sessions for Foster Families
In this free, interactive session you will learn why pollinators have a vital role in the environment, including the production of many of our foods, and see what happens in a bee hive by looking at a ‘virtual hive’.
We’ll also take a look at the ways bees, and other animals, have helped us by inspiring medical, chemical and engineering breakthroughs.
Please meet at Parkinson Court reception 15 minutes before the event. Hosts with signs will be there to greet you.
The workshop will be delivered by staff and students from the Faculty of Environment and Faculty of Biological Sciences.
