Foster Family Fun Day: Hands on fun with Engineering at University of Leeds
Hands-on Engineering at University of Leeds: Come and spend two hours in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Leeds taking part in three hands-on activities from across the Faculty.
First up, test your design and making skills by producing a mock-gabion basket based on a locally made product that is sold across the world. Then test some materials to the point of destruction using hanging masses and finally build a giant tetrahedron by making lots of smaller ones and joining them together. Suitable for ages 4 and above when accompanied by an adult.
