Care Leavers Week – WHERE’S YOUR MAMA GONE Theatre Production

Directed by Brian Daniels and performed at the Dean Clough Viaduct Theatre, Halifax.
Where’s Your Mama Gone? is the moving story of six year old twins who after their mother was murdered were taken into care. At age sixteen, they leave the care home and begin to fend for themselves, facing life long battles of lost identity, lost love and repressed anger. This production addresses issues experienced by many care leaver such as loss, bereavement, separation from siblings, bullying and isolation in compelling and compassionate ways.
There will be an after production discussion with the writer and members of the cast.
This production is suitable for over 18s. Please note that in order to respect the stories of the people who are represented in the production, latecomers will not be admitted, so please arrive at least 15 minutes before the show begins.
